Siddharthnagar . Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Bhairahawa correspondent Kamal Rayamajhi has been awarded the ‘Bhuwan Kumari Memorial Tourism Prize, 2077 BS’.

Rayamajhi who has been in journalism for the past 13 years was awarded in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of tourism industry in the district through feature writing, research-based and investigative reports.
The prize institutionalised by senior journalist Narayan Prasad Sapkota in commemoration of her mother carries a purse of Rs 50,000.
Giving away the award to the winner, Lumbini Province Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC said the publication of research-based and investigative news reports would obviously help promote tourism sector.
As he said, the Province Government would cooperate with related organisations to bring programmes aims to enhance Nepali journalism
