Bhairahawa, Feb.22. / Korea Nepal Institute of Technology (KNIT), Butwal, launched food , sports and film fair festival at Tamnagar, Rupandehi.The festival will run for two weeks to acknowledge the Korean culture. “This program will be helpful for cultural exchange.” Said Hwan Sun Yun , the chief adviser of Korea Nepal Institute of Technology (KNIT), Butwal in an inaugural program. It is expected to be more helpful to those who are interested to go Korea for the employment in the future. According to the principal of the Institute, Aribanda Kumar Chaudhary, it’s a regular program that the Institute organizes twice : in summer and winter in a year, to make people closer to Korean food , film ,culture and sports. Gambhir Gurung , the chairman of ANKUR Nepal-an organization of Neplease Korean Returnees, said ,” The program is the best way for language and cultural exchange between Nepal and Korea.” Mr Gurung remarked that the large number of participants’ presence in the program is a positive node. The Institute (KNIT) established four years ago in the assistance of the government of Korea(KOICA) for fulfilling the need of technical education in Nepal. It has been preparing skilled manpower imparting Diploma in Mechanical, auto mechanical engineering and Diploma in Electrical Electronics.
